A 21-year-old student, Akinpelumi Korede, has emerged as the best students at the 2014 convocation ceremonies of the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
Korede graduated from the institution's Department of Chemical Engineering with a stunning Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.96, topping the list of 125 students who graduated with First Class honours in the session.
The Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Rahamon Ade Bello, announced Korede's feat on Wednesday in speech at the institution’s Multipurpose Hall on Day II of the convocation ceremonies.

Korede will be one of the happiest persons when the Vice Chancellor announced that students who scored at least 4.00 CGPA will be given automatic employment as Graduate Assistants.
He will automatically skip the job search.
